NBC and iTunes had a disaggreement eariler this week about the pricing of NBC’s telivision shows on the iTunes store. Apple and NBC had aggreed o nthe price of $1.99.
“We are disappointed to see NBC leave iTunes because we would not agree to their dramatic price increase,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes. “We hope they will change their minds and offer their TV shows to the tens of millions of iTunes customers.”
I have never bought any TV Show of the iTunes Store so it isn’t that big of a change for me, and I don’t think someone should download it because they can get it free on their TV every week. But NBC’s TV downloads account for 30% on the iTunes store.
I wonder what will happen after this…
